On the back of swords being recycled into ploughs, and goats chilling out with leopards, Isaiah’s picture of a desert in bloom inspired this week’s image.

Thirsty deserts will be glad; barren lands will celebrate and blossom with flowers. Deserts will bloom everywhere and sing joyful songs.

Inspired by the word picture in Isaiah 2:1-5 of ploughs being manufactured from reclaimed swords. I’m also working on a longer version using a track from Paul Simon’s Surprise album, called Wartime Prayers You might find this music helpful for Sunday.
