It has been such a long time since I posted on my blog. I’ve been on holiday and since I’ve been back, I’ve had blogger’s block. So I thought I’d break the blog silence with this image for Sunday’s lectionary reading in Matthew 10:40-42.
True hospitality is such a great thing. It isn’t hard - just a cup of water for “one of these little ones”. Well, OK so these days a big mug of coffee might be more appropriate, but it isn’t rocket science. We’ve been running a community cafe initiative at church over the past couple of weeks which is simply about giving folk a cup of coffee for free! Pure and simple hospitality. It is amazing the people we have met and the conversations we have had.
