Temptation

I’ve never been tempted to turn rocks into bread but there are plenty of things that lure me into thinking I don’t need to rely on God. Actually that’s the point. The temptations that come our way are particular to us. Some things people fall into, I simply don’t understand how. I have no attraction to them. Jesus’s temptations were particular to him. But they were as real as ours ever are.

I know this is an older post but in looking for a theme, I stumbled upon this very human and humble simply worded entry and it not only makes sense to me entirely but comes at the perfect time. You have a beautiful site. Anyway, thanks for this reminder.
