I tried creating a (paid-for) long video and then downloading it so I could playing it without needing a net connection. However the flash plugin for gnu/linux isn't as far along as the windows one and when you attempt to download nothing happens! However by digging into the files in /tmp I managed to workaround the issue. Thanks for directing me to animoto.
