Faith & Art at the St Helens Festival

Jul 10th, 2007 by Tim 0

Just finished a busy few weeks, culminating in this years St Helens Festival. This year the SHINE (the churches of St Helens) marquee took the form of a FairTrade cafe and art exhibition. We gathered Christian artists from churches around the area to display their work and to share something of their faith and art in the cafe. Some people respond to art, others seem oblivious but over the weekend we had many conversations shared over hundreds of cups of FairTrade coffee (courtesy of the COOP).

We produced a table tract (not sure what else to call it), similar to the promotional thingy you find on many restaurant tables, that you may find useful if you try something similar yourself. (Download pdf version).
Of course you may remember last year’s St Helens show and the Diary Room.
