No worship group - get a keyboard?
At the end of last year I managed to pick up a Yamaha PSR2000 for a few pennies. I have used it a few times at church now and it strikes a good compromise between using backing CDs and the lack of other musicians. If you don’t have many musisians, this may be a solution (though you do need seomone who can hit the keyboard).

We have used CDs quite a lot in our worship and still do. They work well, but ‘live’ music gives you more flexibility and doesn’t leave you with awkward moments when the CD stops and you were just itching to hit that last chorus again. Or the panic when you have to switch CDs between songs.
A decent keyboard like the PSR2000 can be found for about

Actually worship bands are sometimes more trouble than they are worth - I mean, getting all those musicians together to play and sing and work together and learn to listen to each other and the Holy Spirit is quite a chore.
Some of my most rewarding times worshipping God have been within worship bands so have some of my most frustrating… In 1 Chronicles 15 v 22 the key to being in charge of music/singing for worship should surely follow this principle - that you are ’skillful at it’! I think that the tracks you have recorded are an excellent example of just what can be achieved with a bit of creative imagination and taking the time to prepare. Well done you! Keep up the good work.
P.S. Do you think heaven has PSR2000’s or pipe organs? (And dare I ask where that leaves the guitars!)
I’ve been a pro musician all my life and have owned many keyboards over the years. My main keyboard now is the Yamaha Tyros which similar to your PSR2000 has auto backings. They have come a long way since the early days of home keyboards, the Tyros sounds are so life like it’s hard to distinguish them from the actual instruments even the guitar backings sound like real guitar players but without the late arrivals and petty squabbling lol.
